Train timetables can be found at\u00a0http:\/\/www.ns.nl\/en.<\/a>\u00a0 Info on paying via contactless debit\/credit card is available at https:\/\/www.ns.nl\/en\/travel-information\/check-in-check-out\/debit-card<\/a><\/p>\n From Schiphol (AMS) Airport:<\/strong>\u00a0 Direct train from Schiphol to Deurne Station, in the direction of Venlo<\/p>\n Follow the \u2018train\u2019 signs to the central hall of the airport.\u00a0 The easiest option is to use your contactless debit\/credit card to check in\/out of the trains- info available at the NS link above.\u00a0 If you cannot\/do not want to do this, then at the yellow ticket machines, you can buy a paper ticket for a small extra fee, or an OV chipcard for 7.50 and load credit on it (please note you need a minimum 20 EUR credit on the card to travel by train.)\u00a0 If you don’t think you’ll do any additional travel in NL then the paper ticket is the most straightforward option if contactless is not an option for you.\u00a0 Purchase a single ticket, be careful not to accidentally purchase a return as the returns are for the same day.<\/p>\n If you do use an ov card, we recommend loading 50 EUR onto it- this will allow you to have enough credit for the train trips to and from site.\u00a0 (We recommend loading more if you are planning on doing more traveling around Amsterdam or NL, though in this case a contactless would be much easier.)\u00a0 You can get the leftover balance refunded by filling out this form https:\/\/www.ov-chipkaart.nl\/en\/credit-refund<\/p>\n Once you have your ticket or ov chipcard if needed, make sure to check in at the little stands near the platforms by placing your ticket, chipcard, or contactless card against the check in stand where indicated- you\u2019ll hear a beep when it has checked you in.<\/p>\n Take the escalator down to the train platform- the trains to Venlo\/Deurne are usually at platforms 3-4, but make sure to check the signs before going down the escalator to ensure the train hasn’t switched platforms, this happens fairly frequently at Schiphol.\u00a0 Please note everyone needs to check in, no matter whether you’re traveling contactless, with a paper ticket, or with an ov chipcard.<\/p>\n Here is what the check in stands look like:<\/p>\n Take the Venlo train to station Deurne – the trip is 1h47m.\u00a0 The stop before Deurne is Helmond, which you will reach 7 minutes before Deurne.\u00a0 When the train leaves Helmond, it’s a good time to gather your things and make your way to the doors to ensure you can disembark at Deurne.\u00a0 Make sure you check out the same way you checked in before leaving the station.\u00a0 This is especially important if you are traveling via contactless as otherwise you will be charged the maximum traveling fee.<\/p>\n Pickups\/dropoffs will be arranged via Deurne station only – we will ask for your travel information a week or two before to arrange schedules, and ask you to please indicate in your registration if you think you will need a pickup and\/or dropoff.\u00a0 Please note you might need to wait a short while at Deurne, but we will try to minimise the delays.<\/p>\n By taxi:<\/strong><\/p>\n We strongly<\/strong> recommend *not* picking up a taxi from the taxi ranks at Schiphol Airport- this will be extremely expensive.\u00a0 However, if you can get a group of people together (at least 4 recommended), Centrale Schiphol Taxi has reasonable rates.\u00a0 More details can be found at the below website- please contact them directly for a quote.<\/p>\n![\"Incheck-poortjes-NS\"](\"https:\/\/coronationpolderslot2019.files.wordpress.com\/2019\/04\/incheck-poortjes-ns.jpg?w=1100\")
